Terms of Use
Last updated October 8, 2026
These terms cover your use of Pinched, run by Pinched. By using Pinched you agree to them.
What Pinched is
Pinched is a meal planning tool: it turns recipes into a grocery list and a prep plan. It is provided as is, while we are still building it. Features may change, and we may stop offering some.
Allergies, diets and food safety
Pinched can flag recipes against allergies and diets you enter, and suggest swaps. These flags are based on ingredient names only and are advisory. They can miss hidden ingredients, cross-contact and changes a manufacturer makes. Pinched never tells you a recipe is safe. Check ingredient labels and follow your doctor's advice. Cooking times and storage guidance are general, so use your own judgment about when food is cooked through and how long it keeps.
Your account and content
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. The recipes, notes and other content you add are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Pinched for you. Don't add content you have no right to use, and respect the sites you import recipes from.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to break, overload or probe Pinched, or get around its limits.
- Don't use the recipe import to collect content in bulk.
- Don't use Pinched to break the law or harm others.
Paid plans
Pinched is free to use. If paid plans are offered, their price, billing period and cancellation terms will be shown before you subscribe.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time, and you can delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Pinched running and your data safe, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, so keep a copy of anything important (Settings has a download). To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on Pinched's flags, times or quantities. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app if a change matters. These terms are governed by the law of Colorado, United States. Questions: support@pinched.app.
